How we started
ReallyPurple was founded in 2001 by Melissa Shanley. After a career in Marketing Research and Web Management, Melissa Shanley learned that many start-up companies do not know how to get their first website up and running quickly, effectively and often with a limited budget. The first clients were so enthusiastic that word of mouth grew our client's list beyond our imagination. We now create websites for many types of companies all over the world, with different budgets and expertise. From simple sites, beatifully designed sites, great imagework in photoshop, flash banners, online forms, data stored in excel sheets, forums, blogs, tweeter, newsletters; we can integrate all into your site.

ReallyPurple can offer you a webmastering contract for reasonable prices, or create a website that will be easy to maintain for non-technical people. Depending on the website requirements, we can offer you an hourly rate and create a website step by step in close cooperation with you or we can work with a project budget and set up a complete project scope.
How we make a website that you can update in-house.
Depending on your in-house knowledge, we can create your website using templates that are easy to maintain. We can provide you links to purchasing in-house software to update text and images and we will support you through the process of setting this up and working with updating software. We can also build simple content management systems enabling you to maintain text areas of your site.
